Expression of Interest - Student Voice Group

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of our newest Bendigo TAFE Student Voice Group.   

The Student Voice Group facilitates active student involvement in the decision-making processes at Bendigo TAFE. Students are our priority- whose perspectives, ideas, and feedback contribute to the overall quality of the TAFE, experience, culture, and community.  

By becoming a part of the Student Voice group, you will be sharing ideas, advocating for change and promoting student voices, all of which will make TAFE a better place!
While you are a member of the Student Voice Group, you will receive support, training and mentoring to build leadership skills that will be invaluable. You will have the opportunity to talk with fellow students and gain a greater perspective, that, feedback and engagement directly contribute to the culture and values of Bendigo Tafe which we strive to improve consistently.

Student Voice Group Details

Involvement:

• Feedback on student engagement and outreach

• Participation in running/contributing to student events

• Participating in training and development opportunities (voluntary)

• Contributing to new initiatives and ideas

• Engaging in discussion related to student life and learning

Details:

• Meeting’s take place once a fortnight (every two weeks) and go for roughly 1 hour.

We encourage participation from students of all courses and backgrounds including students from diverse groups, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse, LGBTQIA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and students with disabilities.
