Expression of Interest - Student Voice 

Thank you for your interest in becoming our newest Bendigo TAFE Student Voice Group.   

The Student Voice Group facilitates students' active involvement in the decision-making processes at Bendigo TAFE. It recognises students as key stakeholders whose perspectives, ideas, and feedback contribute to the overall improvement of educational practices, experience, culture, and community.  

By joining our Student Voice Group and be apart of something transformative, you will share ideas, advocate for change, and make your voice heard in our TAFE community. Collaborate with fellow students, engage in meaningful discussions, and influence decisions that affect the future of education, learning experiences and inclusive educational environments. While you are a member of the Student Voice Group, you will receive support, training and mentoring to build leadership skills and advocate on behalf of your peers. The members of the group will participate on the basis of volunteering their time and participation. 

Student Voice Group Details

Number of Student Voice Group members available:  

• 8 – 10 student members at Bendigo TAFE 

Commitment and Duration:  

• Flexible participation 

• Expected commitment - approximately 15 hours over a six month period  

Meetings: 

• Quarterly hybrid meetings (online and in person) 

We encourage participation from allstudents, including students from diverse groups, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse, LGBTQIA+,Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and students with disabilities. Also, students from all campuses and courses.

Please note Student Voice members must have a valid working with childrens check.
